Not for the want of trying this was the best I could do. Sorry, I couldn't get any separation of my headlights, switchbacks and parking markers. FWIW, I still have a thousand tiny Suns burnt into my retinas.

Installed on my G37x. Now all I need is some 5500k HID bulbs.

Zahy - Maybe I'll try a side shot like you did to see if I can sharpen things up....

Looks good.

I usually just tap to focus onto the lights and that takes care of it for me, but I'm using a Nexus 6P(great camera).

Appreciate it though! Took me like 4 hours to install them because I had no idea what I was doing.

Ah, ha!!! Maybe I should have used something other than a phone to take the pic....

And I'm not too far ahead of you on install timing. I shoulda just taken the bumper off. Probably would have saved an hour instead of blindly attacking those stupid 8mm set screws on the light housing.

The 8mm on the passenger side was torture. Baby steps the entire time. But hey, we got it EVENTUALLY got it done.

more like 50-60+ lol.

I doubt that would be possible, unless you speak to Matt the owner of TRS and see if he can hook you up with a deal on a pair, probably not as good but still something.

I've got Osram CBIs coming tomorrow, so as soon as TRS sends me the connectors for my fogs, I can install and take some pics with a tripod and DSLR.
It will also give me an excuse to take my car to the mall parking garage and re-aim my headlights on one of the walls. Since lowering it on coils, I can't see much on the freeway...

With the Black Friday promotion, I ordered a pair of Lamin-X fog covers in Amber, to fit the G37 Sedan. As far as I can tell, it looks identical in color and material to a sheet of Oracle Window Tint that I have left over from 6 years ago on another project. IIRC, that sheet of window tint only cost like $15 through eBay, and gave me enough material to wrap numerous pairs of fog lights. (IDK, maybe 10.) These Lamin-x cut-outs were $11 shipped for only one pair.

And the Lamin-X circles do *not* look like the same size as you folks have been posting pics here. They're smaller, with two tabs. When sizing them up to the fog lenses, they look very much like there is a 1/8" gap around the edges. Granted, that's guesswork, without being installed and the fog ring over them.

And Sean... swing and a miss, buddy. Don't blame the camera.

Perhaps because the Lamin X ones are precut for the OEM fogs?

Most likely. I don't have the OEM fogs in my hands to asses and compare. I may have just wasted $11. Meh.

I checked mine today too and it seems to be the same as yours. I'm hoping we won't be able to see that difference once installed. At least not unless you look really close.

Anyone who didn't receive their connectors and sent an email to TRS, have you received a response back? I know I got an email saying they're a bit backed up, but wanted to see how long the response time would take. I'm in no rush as I don't plan on installing these until next year when I have my front end repainted.

I have enough Amber tint left over that I don't really need the Lamin-X cutouts, but I thought to try them out anyway, to see what the differences are. If I tint (which isn't a foregone conclusion), I can certainly do a different approach on each side and figure out which I like the best.

Way too much thought spent on something so small, but whatever. Hobby.
