Yep the engine bay was pretty straightforward, just make sure to mask off properly for the engine cover. Baking the headlights really wasn't that bad in the end, it seems scary but I only baked at 200F which isn't out of the temperature limits of the headlights themselves I would think. I also left all the wiring and bulbs.

BTW, did you change to the STiR lens?
That was the best $50 I've spent on my G, made such a dramatic difference in light transmission, cutoff, and cleaned up the look compared to that crap fresnal lens.

No, actually I considered it but ended up not doing it. I decided to start the project on Friday and had to move to my apartment on Monday so I didn't have time to wait for the lens in the mail. Perhaps in the future I will do this again and change the color of the shrouds, as well as do the lens swap. Especially with your testimony on it being the best $50 you've spent haha!

Painting the headlights is a PITA mod, but one that really makes such a dramatic difference that it's time well spent IMO.
