Just got my G37, I'm interested in replacing the stock HID bulb with a 6k bulb (more pure white) I had it in my 2013 Corolla. I just think it looks cleaner a pure white. Anyone know where I can find 6k replacement hid bulbs?
I currently have Osram Cool Blue Intense bulbs in my G. They're rated at 5K but actually produce more lumens than most stock 4150-4300k bulbs. They're not cheap though.
Check out the Retrofit Source for D2S bulbs.
I have the Morimoto 6000K D2S bulbs and to me they look pure white with an ever so slight hint of blue. Gives it a really good look, kinda like some of these new LED headlights. Also have had them for months now and they fire up each time in Auto mode.
If your going to get into the lights, are you going to do some painting while your in there? Also have you thought about going with the panemera shroud?
What's that website guys??? Retrofit.com I think. Do a search you'll find it. Everything headlight n more

Nobody seemed to have mention how sensitive our newer ballast are to cheap bulbs. If you have anything newer than a 2010 G you cannot use a cheap bulb. Don't buy a set off Ebay for 20 or 30 bucks and expect them to fire up all the time. I first tried a 40 dollar set and after 3 weeks returned them. I ended up using an old set of Phillips 85122 I had from my BMW. I used them till I got a set of Phillips Ultinon 6K. Good bulbs are not cheap and there are lots of knock offs so buy from a reputable source like Retrofit.com.
Good Luck.
