I believe the OP is referring to the door request button on the outside handle.
I know others have modified the handle itself with LED's- that project is on hold until I finalize my mirror project as they're both tied together- but I don't know of anyone manufacturing or modifying lighted buttons.

Ok, my bad. I thought you were referring to the door request switch being illuminated.
As for putting a light in the door handle area, a few have done this on other cars, here is a link for a DIY that was done for a Maxima:

It is not a easy project as the entire door panel has to be disassembled and the handle removed and modified to accept the LED. Wiring is the easy part as you could just tap into the door step light.
Personally I like the look but until I get my mirror/camera project sorted I'm putting it on hold.

Wow that does look HOT but looks like a Lot of work
