Please test this, and report back if you could. Also, please let me know if you have the wind fire brand, or an alternative, and where you got it. The year of your car and whether or not it's a coupe or sedan would also be useful data to have.

My theory thus far is that they draw too much current and that messes things up. I can take 1 out and it works fine. There is also a person with a 2013 who doesn't experience this problem. So far, I've confirmed that 2 people with a 2011 and 1 with a 2009 have this problem. The 1 person with a 2013 doesn't have this issue.
Same problem, also my car would randomly have a dead battery. I removed these since they started turning green, so far no issues.

Started turning green? Um, OK.

My trunk button won't work when one of the doors are open, and it's because of the projectors. Other than this really screwy peculiarity, they've been 100% since installed last year.

Yeah they started projecting a green logo instead of white. I just said screw it and put the stock bulbs back in. Going to get DD LEDs tomorrow to match the rest of my interior. Although I do miss the red door lights on my Lexus so may do red leds

As a matter of fact, on a whim, I just ordered red door lights from DD.
I have no Idea what they'll look like but it's worth the experiment.

Tested yesterday with one door and two doors open, do not have this problem with the Wind Fire projectors on my 2010 G37S sedan.

Ashamed that there's problems with the trunk release, might have to just get one for the driver's side then.

Thanks guys!
I like Wind Fire because they have tons of different lenses to choose from and you can get custom ones. They are also based in LA close to me so the shipping was super fast. They are one of the sellers on Amazon, not sure where the other ones are from maybe straight from China. Try my promo code up earlier in the thread I'm not sure if it still works.

FML is that the reason why I couldn't open the trunk with the key fob and when I tried to open it using the fob in my pocket it was a fail too??? I brought the car to the dealer and they said it may be electrical but I'm happy I stumble on this,i will try testing them tomorrow.

My 2008 G37S Coupe has one when I bought it but it never lights up and when I measure the voltage it's like 1.87V. Any idea from the group?
