Vert/Coupe Headrest Issue

I just picked up a 2011 vert, and I noticed that my headrest is loose compared to the other one. It will tilt towards the steering wheel an inch or so, but there is no sway in the other direction. I took it to the NOLA dealership and they said they will look at it this weekend, but that it is probably not a warranty item.

But I wonder:
1) What happened to make the headrest sway towards the front. (no, the car has never been wrecked.)
2) So if your window stops working from wear & tear, why does the warranty not cover for the headrest not functioning properly.

I am not sure what the previous owner did to it, but shouldn't warranty cover even issues like this? Or am I getting the run-around from the dealership?

Thanks in advance for any help...

No idea what happened but it is likely something silly like someone getting out of the back seat and used the headrest as a hand grab or similar event(s).

Base Warranty is 4 years & if the dealership is talking smack about coverage, you can remind them that the headrest is part of the car's safety systems (at which point they will likely reconsider their previous stance and ensure that the "repair" is covered).
Good luck!

Thanks bschurr!!! That was my gameplan, so I was just making sure I wasn't too far off base.
