2009 g37 coupe replacement seat cover

I just had the bottom portion of my g37 2009 coupe driver seat replaced. There were dents bubbles and other things. When I went to pick up my car the seat cover they replaced it with looked like **** to say the least. There were wrinkles(half an inch high) and the color wasn't even the same. It looks like the leather they used in the newer models have a lighter black color. They asked me to "try it out" for 1-3 months. And I told them thats unacceptable. Anyone have similar experience/what should I do. I am still driving around the loaner and have not picked it up

Yeah Ill get them later today when I go pick up my car. Did they change the color of the leather from 2009-2013? The warranty specialist said it was because of the age of the leather, but the back seats where no one has ever sat are still a completely different color than the replacement cover.

It wasn't that hard. They wouldn't replace the whole seat just the lower dirver side. But it had alot of bubbling and huge *** cheek marks from previous owner.

I had the passenger seat replaced in my coupe (long story) and while the new seat was in great condition, I agree that the new leather doesn't look as nice. Is it supposed to be more durable?

I warned my dad about this with his G. They replaced the bottom seat cover and it looks much different.

Even when it wears in, it'll look different. The fit & finish is just slightly off compared to factory, at least what came from model years 2008-09.

They said because my old leather was exposed to the elements for three years that it will look different. I don't know how I feel about that.
