So i wanted to put 5000k HID's on my g37s coupe. I know i have to buy the whole kit for the fogs, but for the heads do i just need the bulbs?would it work with the stock ballast? also do you guys know of any good places i can purchase them from?

Just need to upgrade the bulbs.
I replaced my G37xS sedan's with OSRAM XENARC 66240 CBI 5000K HID BULBS.

Look no further...these are the best!

 

Make sure you buy OEM spec Osram or Philips bulbs. I have tried the cheaper chinese versions and they dont start up right away. I had to turn the headlights on and off several times before they stayed on.
