Road debris damage! Need advice!
I am the proud new owner of a Moonlight White G37xS sedan (two weeks). While on business in the construction ridden Metroplex (DFW area) a road cone shot out from underneath the truck in front of me. Please spare me the lecture on following to closely (thanks mom) and lend me some advice.
It broke out my driver-side fog light lens and the foglight bezel and finish panel vanished as well. From what I could find total replacement parts cost is about $185 (I could shoot some random a**hole I'm so pissed off), $133 for the fog light, $35 for the finish panel and $17 for the bezel. My question is this:
1. Since I am planning on upgrading the fog lights anyway should I Look into buying aftermarket assembly's, Or just replace the OEM assembly and upgrade the bulbs? Not sure if I want HID or LED but I'm interested in improving both form and function. Also I plan to de-chrome the exterior of the entire vehicle so would i have to use the chrome bezels even with aftermarket assemblies and just vinyl wrap or paint them or Are there aftermarket assemblies that would fit in there nicely without having to use the chrome bezels?
2. This fu**ing cone left some really nice scuffs and scratches on my baby and would like to know if there is a relatively inexpensive way to clean these up like new without having to pay someone to re-paint the area or can you DIY it with touch-up paint? Please help! Any advice is greatly appreciated!

That really does bite.
That's pretty deep, idk you maybe able to buff some of it.
Looks like its down to the primer, touch up paint is gonna look like blah.
You will stare at it every time you see that front bumper.
I'd be pissed, but it's done I would pay to have it painted.
Good luck with your situation, sucks when these things happen.
Id start with a pro detailer, then look for a body shop IMO.
