I was working on my car today taking out the Stillen Gen3 intakes. In order to take out the piping I had to unbolt the driver side hood lock.

After i put everything back together and closed the hood and try to open it, only the passenger side pops open! the driver side is still locked... any ideas

 

The cable fell off?

 

any way of opening it without destroying my bumper/ grill?

 

Your best bet is to remove the driver side front wheel and the wheel arch cover. Then try to reach in and flick the lock.

Here is a picture looking in from behind the wheel well. You can see the hood latch.

 

if the cable didnt fall off it could be pinched. happened to me on the passenger side. try pulling the cable manually with some pliers to see if its snug tight while some one else pushes up and down on the hood by the clip. if its loose i'd go with modme's post
