Glovebox Light change

So I bought an LED kit from Diode.....good thing I have directions from them telling me which light is which.......

Ok rant over.

But seriously. I have a 2012 G37, and the glove box light I can't get to. I'm assuming I need to take the glove box out, but there is one screw at the very bottom right that I can't get a screwdriver on to remove the screws. Anyone else had the same issue?

Did you have to drop the glove box down? What do you mean by "the right tools"

I have a 10" screwdriver that I can't get on square, I also have two others that are smaller and can't get it to fit.......maybe I'm slow or something.

Yep. I dropped the glovebox, but you have to take half the dash apart to get at that light.

Might be a DIY on here that tell you how to get at it.

As far as tools go, I had a really long Phillips head screw driver to get at that screw. Wasn't too tough.

Got it, didn't know about taking the bottom half of the glovebox out.

I was able to get it without removing it, but it was a pain in the ***

I waited until I need to change the cabin air filter since it was so involved.
