I am getting the '11 G sedan and I wanted to paint the grille black and the emblem white. I was wondering what is the best material (touch-up paint, or something else) to get the most realistic color for the moonlight white.

why do you wanna make a nice sedan look ricy? .. i mean it's your car but just curious

 

painting your emblem is not bad at all. trust me he can do worse by putting it on chrome 24's with a hood scoop and a enormous spoiler. lol

 

don't try doing it yourself.... any shop will paint your grille and color match the emblem. The 100 bucks or whatever should not be an issue. You can thank me later.

 

I used to have a honda. Painted everything myself, so I don't mind the work. But my honda was black so I wasn't worried so much about the exact paint color. And to answer your question why I want to do it: if you would see a picture of the sedan blacked out grille with the emblem being white on a white car, you would probably want to do it also, imo. But hey it's personal choice.

So for anyone that did it, how did you do it? Does everyone bring it to a shop?
