Plastidip Removal

I plastidipped my grille and rear valence however I don't like the look the of the rear valence. Trying to peal this off is next to impossible and I don't want to scratch the paint. Does anyone have tips on taking this off? Goo-gone, warm towel..?

Removal is only as easy as how well you put it on. If it's too thin, being rubber, it'll just tear into pieces.

The key to PD is to apply several layers of it. I removed two strips from my grille a while back and that was an easy process -- peel off the corner, score the sections and everything came off in one piece.

Here's a test i did a while back with just one heavy coat. A few more coats and the thing would be completely opaque when held to light.

edit: OP, if things are proving too difficult, you could always layer in more of the stuff for the sake of removal.

its difficult to remove because he probably has too thin of a layer.
its been said, multiple times, that if you want an easy removal process you have to put on more than 1 thin coat.
your best bet will be goo gone, op, just wax your car afterwards.
claybar also works well on the little specs left over.

i have never had an issue removing plastidip. and ive done it many times.
