Has anyone replaced their standard rearview mirror with the digital compass one?

It seems that $249 is the price everywhere you look (for the GENK45A). However, I bought through Amazon because I got free shipping from them (everywhere else was like $12 shipping).
When you get it, it will come with a lot of wires, etc... Forget all of that - you just need the mirror. Simply swap it with your original one and your done. Piece of cake!

So how did you guys arrive at GENK45A model? Is Gentex OEM for Nissan/Infiniti?
I also hate the small analogue arrow on the Navi. Infiniti really dropped the ball on the Infiniti/Radio unit, at least sound quality is nice. They should've really put Compass reading in the instrument panel LED screen - plenty of space there.
One thing I like about GENK45A from the pictures they use Blue led for the compass, instead of random Orange that Infiniti uses.

Sorry for reviving on old thread.....Looking at the GENK50a model which has both compass and temperature, in addition to the homelink buttons. Has anyone done this model? I see a lot on ebay but they came out of Toyotas. Has anyone used one of those, is it still plug/play?
