2009 Front bumper...swap to '11/'12?

So my baby was hit while parked. Dude backed into it in my office parking lot. Pissed! Front left corner of the bumper is folded in & scratched all to hell, chin spoiler is busted, headlight toast. it'll all have to be replaced. Insurance is being processed.... Curious to know...will the new style bumper & chin spoiler combo fit as a potential replacement? Might as well update if the shop will order those instead right?

I would say if you have a sedan, probably not unless you change your headlights. I pulled these photos from Wikipedia of a 2007-2009 model, and a 2010 model. Note the abrupt curve at the lower end of the top part of the headlight on the 2010, then the subtle slope of the top part of the headlight on the 07-09.

Just talking about this today actually and I think on the sedan it would because you are pulling from the bottom of the headlights down basically so the top of the headlights wouldn't matter in that case. If you have a coupe I pretty sure 180 has a thread on doing this.

No, for the coupe, Pcasey posted all the relevant information. And it's not from the bottom of the headlights down. The front bumper cover extends from halfway up the top side of the headlight, so no, it would not fit old style headlights.

I'm a sedan with factory sport & aero package. Just wondering if there's other options to change the look a bit since I have the opportunity during this repair. Would a different chin make that much difference in look if I used the same sport bumper or should I be looking at an entire bumper change?
