OK so Ive seen a lot of people asking or trying to do the bumper swap with an 08 coupe with a 2011 bumper either IPL, Sport, or non sport.
Just to clarify you can buy the bumpers through orderinfinitiparts.com or through the dealership. The IPL bumpers come painted and are $478 from the dealer ship and 278 plus 200 shipping from orderinfinitiparts.com. The sport bumper does not come painted and is the same price as the IPL bumper. Last time I checked the IPL bumper was on backorder for a while, plus I am not feeling it as of now. You just need the right part number because they are all pretty close. You also will need fog lights, washer fluid tank, 3 lower grilles. With shipping and depending if you go through online parts or dealership your total in parts before install will be anywhere from 1400-1600 through infiniti parts or 1600-2000 through dealership parts dept. Just do your research if your going to do this and get the right parts numbers. I currently have mine in the bodyshop now, I am swaping my 08 sport bumper with the 2011 sport bumper, IT IS A DIRECT FIT as long as you have the fluid tank for the 2011 coupe. They fit everything on first to make sure it fit and then are currently painting the bumper for an exact match. Will be done on Thursday evening, as long as everything goes smooth. It doesnt look like the stillen splitter will fit on the 2011 sport bumper but after a couple days we might try to custom fit it on there. I dont know why I am writing so much but I just thought I would share this info. I am not sure if the IPL bumper will be a direct fit as well. Anyone else who did this you can chime in please, otherwise any questions let me nose.

I did, but I cant find the dang thing. If I find Ill post. Its pretty easy to get just go to ur dealership and get part numbers or call orderinfinitiparts.com.

OP if the bumper is around $478 how can you get $1600 for total? fog lights, washer fluid tank and 3 lower grilles cost over 1000?

fog lights are 300 each if bought from the dealership, washer tank is 160 from dealership, all three lower grilles are about 300-400 from dealership and if you need to paint the sport bumper that will be around 300+. so 500 bumper+600fogs+160washertank+400lowergrilles+wires for fogs= this is without tax, so thats around 1660 then if you paint make that 1960

Yeah there are cheaper ways of doing it so your amount could be lower. I mean if you ordered everything from online parts your total is going to be 1100+ without tax or shipping costs, and shipping costs arent cheap

nope not yet, they just called today and said everything will be done thursday and that everything was put on and fits perfect. WEnt up there to look, it it was. Ill post them though fure sure
