AFS comes on after 6000k hid swap

I just installed 6000k hid for my coupe and i took the car around the block and after 2 turns the AFS light flashes at me and the feature stops working. The HID bulb swap was easy and Im scratching my head trying to figure out why this is happening.

any help would be nice and I really dont feel like swapping the bulbs again back to stock.

I purchased the hid bulbs from hidoutlet.net

With AFS headlights, you have to make sure you put the igniter (the metal piece that locks onto the bulb) in the same position as it was before you took it out otherwise it gets caught on the inside of the projector and can't turn all the way, thats when it throws the AFS code.

On the RH (pass) side, the igniter is supposed to be locked in the 9 o'clock position with the harness facing 3 o'clock

On the LH (driver) side, the igniter is supposed to be locked in at 3 o'clock position with the harness at 9'clock.

Hope that helps.
