leak under passenger side dash

Had a day of almost nice weather so decided to get the salt of the car (08' sport coupe). Went to a touchless car wash place. As I was accelerating off, a bunch of water dumped from below the passebger side dash on to the mat. I have had the car washed before and not had this issue.

Is this a freak incident or something to get looked at? Anyone had this happen to them?

I had a 2003 Maxima before my G37. My Maxima had just been slightly repaired after a minor accident. Same thing happened to me after a car wash.

Does your car have a previous accident? It could be due to poor repairs.

This could also mean water is possibly leaking through from the air intake right under your windshield. I'd take it in if your car is still under warranty.

Or the battery has been replaced at some point and they did a crap job putting the windshield cowl back on. When you take it off to replace the battery, you can see the cabin air filter and I don't think it'd be hard to have water get in there if things weren't sealed correctly.
