You will have to be a little more specific. What plug are you trying to tap into and for what?

I'm guessing for the mirror LED? Each lamp assembly probably has two wires, hot and earth. You could probably attach the earth wire (ground) to the door frame and run the hot wire through the door harness (not easy whether you use terminal pins or not) to the BCM. Just check the FSM for your model year (Section BCS- Body Control System) to identify which wires to tap into.

I looked in that chapter couldn't find the pin out for the passenger side ecm kick panel.

 

For my '08 Coupe BCM:

Turn Signal pin outs:

Front Left: 18
Front Right: 17
------------------
Rear Left: 25
Rear Right: 20

Where did you get the Nissan Kit?

 

I haven't ordered it as yet. I have a few emails out to different exporters waiting to see who can get the best price. The kit is around $320USD but shipping adds another $150-200. Funny thing is that you can buy the kit from Amazon Japan but they won't ship to the US and US Nissan dealers can't get the kit from Nissan directly. Absolutely nuts.

$320 is absolutely insane for the LED side marker lights.

 

Thanks for the lead. I will definitely check into their services. I agree the price is high but as with anything OEM, let alone JDM OEM, then factoring the Skyline fervor that evolves, the prices are always outrageous. It's the shipping that really bites!

nah but its pretty simple I ran the wires to the front turn signal and tapped it straight from there

 

Well what a surprise I just received my mirrors today, it arrived 10 days prior to the original date which was suppose to be between Mon, Oct 20 - Thu, Nov 06. Now I would have to get them painted white pearl, plastidip and install them. wish they came black for some reason.

 

Paid $40 to have them painted flat black and today I spent the whole day at my friend garage and holly fck those wires were a bitch to install.

I had to go to princess auto and buy a trim kit remover. He didn't have any at his garage, after removing the front panel, I ran the wires through the mirror and then the hard part came to run the wire through the tube and wow it was hard, he didn't want to drill hole and didn't want me to run into electrical problem later in case water goes in. Due to the cold weather and didn't have time to Finnish I had to installed the mirror and now I have to go back tomorrow and tap into those wires, I have to say it does look good with those led, I might be the only one in Ottawa with them lol cant wait to get ppl's reaction.

I put my project on hold. I'm willing to pay the $300USD for the JDM kit but I can't justify paying an additional $200USD to ship a box half the size of a box of cereal while if I were to get the entire mirror assemblies, complete with LED and side camera, the shipping costs would be the same. Go figure. As it is my ex is in the Marines and he has some friends stationed in Japan who will see if they can get it for me.
