Link to Amazon: Amazon.co.jp | NISSAN(????)??????????? ????? B6165-1NF01 | ???????? ??

I think B6165-1NF01 is the correct part -- B6165-1NF00 as mentioned earlier is for the version with the side camera unless my info is wrong.

I'd give it a shot but I don't have a G yet. Currently driving an Altima Coupe 3.5 SR and I agree it's ridiculous you guys don't get these standard when the Altima does. I might trade in my car for a used G depending on how long the Q60 redesign is going to take and whether I like it once it's revealed in Detroit. This is probably one of the first mods I'd do since I hate the thought of losing something my current car has.

My only concern would be how easy it is to repair if any of the LEDs die. Both of my AC's mirror LEDs have lost a bulb over the 3 years I've owned it and one of them malfunctioned completely (got it fixed under warranty though). Would suck to spend this much money again to get a new pair if it's as unreliable as the Nissan version.
I'm kind of confused. What side camera is the p/n specifying? I saw another post from earlier saying that this was a LED mirror kit and not the entire mirror housing. Kinda blows that it's so expensive and doesn't have power fold function. The new Q50 doesn't have power folding either even though it does have the turn signals.

Yeah I think it's just the mirror cover and not the entire assembly.

The side camera is an option on the JDM Skyline. There's a button on the dash that activates a camera on the passenger mirror (for parallel parking I guess). So one of these parts (B6165-1NF01 or B6165-1NF00) has a cutout for the camera that the US cars are not equipped with.

I think B6165-1NF01 is the one to get since the eBay seller says it's the one without the camera. http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-Nissan-SKYLINE-COUPE-CV36-Infiniti-G37-Q60-LED-Mirror-Winker-GENUINE-OEM-/251690054033?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a99e57191&vxp=mtr

Maybe I can clear up some confusion. Side mirror LED winkers were not available for USDM coupes. Neither was the power fold option or the side cameras. All of these options were available on the JDM versions.

Nissan produces a kit for the LED winker assemblies:

p/n: B6165-1NF00, is for mirrors that HAVE a camera mounted on the mirror assembly;

p/n: B6165-1NF01, is for those that do NOT have a side camera.

Here is a diagram of the kit "contents." Near as I can tell the only difference is some wiring harnesses:

Attachment 108947

The seller referenced on eBay seems decent but is way overpriced. The kit on Amazon Japan is about $285- but getting it shipped, reasonable priced, is the headache. The project is still on my list but is on hold for now.

Hopefully this will clear up any confusion about this kit/project.

Good to know that's the correct one.

Tenso's shipping estimator shows 1,510 yen ($12.4 USD). Amazon is about $293 for the covers. Still has to be painted as well. Not as much as a ripoff as the eBay seller but a fair amount of money for a feature that should be standard.

Regardless I would probably do it if I had the car. Hopefully someone will volunteer to be a guinea pig and get one in the next few months.

For further clarification, the kit contains the "chrome" LED winker assemblies and related installation supplies ONLY! It does NOT include new mirror covers.

The existing mirror covers on the car have to be modified to install the LED"s. That, too, makes it significantly overpriced in my opinion.

Wow, that's a crazy price for just the LEDs. Thanks for the info. I guess this isn't really a good option then.

I'm bumping this old thread just to offer additional input to anyone who may be contemplating this project. I went ahead and bit the bullet and bought the OEM JDM kit, B6165-1NF00. (I do not think there is a difference between -1NF00 and -1NF01- camera or not). I used amayama.com, paid just under $350 total, and it arrived in about 4 days total.

The kit contains everything you need to install the winkers even down to the wiring pins and terminals. Being OEM the kit is a quality product and is inclusive. The install is basically that wires get get snaked through the mirror, through the main door harness and gets routed to the BCM. There is a relay/junction/connector-type piece that gets wired to the BCM and then the LED's plug into this relay.

The LED assemblies themselves consist of a plastic body with a metal trim piece. The chrome part that we see in pictures is actual metal, not plastic. Three to four small holes have to be drilled in the mirror cover and the LED's get attached by screws from the underside of the cover. Naturally a template is provided for both sides.

Sadly, the instructions are in Japanese, however, anyone with moderate skills should be able to decipher most of the processes involved. For some things I used Google translate and while not perfect it did help. Being that I had previously swapped out for the convertible/power fold mirrors, I already know how to install the wiring pins and terminals.

I have not installed the kit yet. With me working 10-14 hours a day time is not on my side. In my opinion it should take a day for the average do-it-yourselfer to install this from start to finish. If I had thought of this sooner, I would have installed the winkers on the 'vert mirrors and made it one big project. Oh well, that old hindsight and foresight thing. Once I get it completed I will post some pics.

Finally completed the install of the JDM OEM winker kit. Came out pretty good. The LED's are not as bright as others on the road but it works for me.

Install was not the hardest, just very time consuming especially given the tight spaces and tolerances our cars have.

I have two sets of folding mirrors with camera waiting to be installed. Also have the winker kit and an OEM option folding kit which will autofold when I shut the car off. Just haven't gotten around to installing anything yet. Well, I'll only install one set of mirrors and probably sell the others.

I don't use eBay anymore, have a couple guys in Japan I've been buying from, prices with shipping are better than what I see on eBay. If anyone is interested PM me and if you're on FB I can get you in contact with them.

Turn signal wire location

I bought some covers off of eBay, got them painted, and installed (with a lot of help from this thread). Now I'm having trouble finding where the turn signal wires are. I read yellow, green, and pink but can't find it. I thought they were next to the fuse panel on the driver's side but I had no luck. I have a '12 coupe. Can someone help me out?

Thanks!

Not sure what you're trying to do, but the turn signals are controlled by the BCM which is located in the right side of the passenger side footwell. Just check the BCS and/or EXL sections of the FSM for your model year and they will point you in the right direction.
