Swap on Aluminum Door Trim?

any diy links to remove the aluminum trim? im planning on picking up some cf today and wrapping it. i dont want to bend/dent/break the aluminum in the process though.. do you have to take off the entire door panel or do they just pop out?

On the lower end of the trim there's a tiny hole. Stick a small flat head screwdriver in there and pull it back gently. It'll pop off and just keep moving till you get it off completely.

lol! IT WILL NOT BREAK! look for that tiny square hole located on the lower part of the trim and stick a flat head screwdriver inside and GENTLY PULL BACK.

does the top aluminum trim on the door also come off with just prying it off? i got the bottom handle one off no problem but didnt want to start yanking on the top one if it doesnt come off as easily..

NO! The top trim on the door panel is held on by screws from the back.

NO! The top trim on the door panel is held on by screws from the back.

Thanx for the link. Just a quick question. Is it possible to take out the aluminum trim without taking off the glove box itself?

OMG STOOF, kudos to you. That looks sick. I may try painting mine. I don't think I have the patience to spray adhesive and try to wrap those pieces without getting wrinkles in them..lol
