So the dealership scratched my shift ****....

So I brought in my car for its 7500 service, and thank god they didn't scratch the exterior or rims. However, 10 miles away from the dealership, I noticed they scratched my shift **** - about a centimeter long. I know that's not a lot, but 1) my interior was without a single blemish b/c I remove all sharp objects, ie watch, rings, etc., 2) I'm neurotic.

a) Is there something I can use to touch up the metal looking plastic?

b) How much would it be to replace that piece?

c) Should I demand the dealership to fix it or am I making a mountain out of a molehill?

d) Is $119 too much for a 7,500 service (that's without oil change b/c that was free)?

You left the dealership... you're suppose to check the car for any damages before you drive off. If they're nice they'll try to work with you... if not, they will say you could've done it since you didn't say anything before you left their lot.

i threw my gym bag into the passenger seat while sitting in the drivers seat. my belt was hanging out of the bag and the clasp dinged on the metal shift cover. seems like the metal is fragile and it made a tiny dent. it was bugging me the whole drive after i did that but I started to think it would be too much trouble to replace the metal console cover just for a tiny ding/dent. now i dont even think about it.
