vled slim ballast hid fogs

installed the fogs last weekend and the 6000k vled h1 fogs are bluer than my hp auto 6000k headlight bulbs. what's everyone else using for headlights bulbs and are they any closer in color temp? also, i aimed the fogs down pretty low to keep the glare off other drivers...funny thing now though, when i turn the fogs on, the laser alert goes off on my v1.

Does the V1 stay alarming the whole time your fogs are on? Or is it when they are reflected off of something else?

I just bought the fogs as well and have yet to put them on.

the hpa bulbs are crap. I changed all my headlights and fogs out for DDM Tuning (HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning) 6000K bulbs and they are perfect pure white and all match.

also, if your fogs are setting off the V1 alarm, they are WAY too low. readjust them using the DIY for adjusting lights to get them the correct height

Haha no problem man...

HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning

Just look under "HID replacement bulbs" then select D2S and your color temp

technically, the coupe uses 55W and the sedan uses 35W (so I bought the 55W) but either coupe/sedan will run fine off 35W. I just wanted to get the same wattage as the manual says

For your 2010 I would just check the manual to be sure

My manual says 55 watts for the coupe. The sedans now have the fogs in the bumper. So if you have no problem with the 55 watt being too hot then that is what I think I should order. How long have you had them. The guy that answered the phone at DDM really was no help at all.

I've had my 55W's for 6+ months and no problems yet (and my fogs are always on whenever the headlights are on)

absolutely no problems with overheating/burn out/etc

is it true that HIDs give off less heat than H1 bulbs?

I'm trying to see what I'm gonna use there, but I still want LEDs in the parking light and don't want those burning out.
