adjusting projectors in headlights

I noticed that in a couple of my friends cars (mercedes) you can raise or lower the projector for your low beams to raise or lower the light beam? i have a g37 sedan and the left side light cut off seems to be bit lower than the right side..probably so you dont blind oncoming traffic as much. but i was wondering if the g37 had this feature so i could raise the left side and get a clean cut off ?? i tried lookin but couldnt really find anything

DIY to the rescue! It should be the same for all G37 years... or very similar.

I'd just leave it, honestly. Infiniti knows what they are doing when it comes to lining up the headlights properly.

the ONLY reason you should need to even check your headilghts is if you do a drop or change out the bulbs

and you are right, thats exactly why theyre different. If you even them up it will look bug-eyed when you are head on

I'm not saying don't even it up b/c it'll be annoying to oncoming traffic, but I do think it would be bug-eyed and look dumb with one headlight obviously pointed higher than the other

You shouldn't need to readjust with a bulb change, as the height of the projector relative to the ground hasn't/doesn't change.

That's a good DIY, but the distance between the projectors isn't 6 feet. You actually have to measure it and not guess or use a predetermined distance.

So typical of this self-centered world we live in today.

Why should I care if I blind oncoming traffic as long as I think my lights cool cool?

yup. lol. but honestly though i dont think raising it just a little bit is going to blind traffic that much..and its still better than ppl who put bright *** hids on cars that have reflector bowls for halogens and shoot the light randomly all over the place or hids on lifted trucks and **** so w.e.
