black vs chrome

Ok guys...here's b4 and after...yes I used ...gulp ...black elec tape but only to get a sense of how it would look...will use gloss black vinyl if I do it for real.

Not sure...seems to make the car look lower from some angles...

Thoughts?...Humble Opinions?

The blacked out look looks good on the black. With the vinyl tape you can always take if off later on and go back to chrome.

You may want to do the grill as well, the combination would look great

I guess you were not the only one blacking out the trim. Look at this post. I saw it after I saw your pictures, he did both the grill and window trim.

My grill isn't wrapped, it's the midnight grill.

I personally prefer the chrome, but I'm 50 and I think the older group likes it more than the younger. My wife (49) doesn't like chrome, so she would probably like the black out. A total blackout of ALL color would be pretty cool looking...

I have a black G37 and think the chrome looks sexy. More importantly, a few girls I know also think so

chrome still looks better. Blacked out makes the car look plain and simple

^^^^ Plain and simple.

But in the direct sun the whole black on black concept probably looks sharp.
