i noticed today when i revved my engine from idle... the dome lights flickers... seems like it surges then once u step on the gas.

is this normal?

i have leds for my dome light.

 

If that's normal I would be driving the car back to the dealership for a refund.

Take it to dealership and have them fix it ASAP. Should not do that!

 

thats what i thought too. its not like it dims bad but it a slight dim barely noticable but its buggin me

 

Take it back ... sounds electrical and should still be under warranty ... though they may rag on you about the LED dome lights. I'd put back the standard issue bulbs and take it back to infinity.

 

Sorry! I didn't read that last line. Take out the LEDs and put back in the incandescent bulbs and test it. If no issues then it's your LEDs.

 

^+1 test the different bulbs.

where did you buy the led's from? If they are eBay brand I'll just about guarantee it's the bulbs but definitely try the originals before you take it back to the dealership.

its just the led whats doing it... i check the accent light in between the map lights and ITS NOT DIMMING when I rev the engine.

its just the map LED lights doing it. ill try to swap out and see. if its the LEDs only then I guess its normal.

ill take a video today too.

 

My LED's do the same. They are always slightly on even when they are supposed to be off. My sub is what causes the power draw, but before i installed the sub, I noticed with revs the LEDs would flicker.

 

did u get it checked?

 

ha, thats funny cuz my headlights flicker when i rev-match my down shifts.
