Um, find the connector on the end of the wire in the trunk and unplug it, lol.

In the trunk beneath the brake light, remove the pop rivets holding interior paneling (just enough to get to under the brake light, about 3-4 pop rivets). Once you have access to the area under the brake light, you will see a round opening in the chassis of the car stuffed with sponge-like insulation. There's a wire going through that opening, which is the brake light wire. Slowly pull it out and you will see the connector. Simply disconnect it and hide the ends so they don't rattle. No message will go off on your console if you disconnect it.

Why are you disconnecting it? Did you add a spoiler to your G and don't want the redundant high mount brake lights?
