Scratch X on door panel?
Scratch X on door panel?
Hi everyone,
Recently I discovered that I had a small scratch on the plastic part of the interior door panel. I was told by a friend to use ScratchX, even though it's mainly for the exterior. So I very lightly rubbed on a dab of ScratchX with my finger and then wiped it off with a cotten cloth. The scratch has been minimized, but the area where I put on the ScratchX seems shinier or darker than the rest of the panel.
I was just thinking that this was the residue left by the ScratchX but I've tried multiple cleaners and I can't get rid of it. I've since put some 303 on the door, which seemed to minimize the mark, but you can still see the "shinyness" from certain angles.
I didn't think I rubbed hard enough for it to act as an abrasive, so my question is, how can I remove the residue?
Your help is appreciated.
