I like the rear spoiler in lieu of the chrome lip. Has anyone done the swap on their car? Any input would help. I was wondering if the 3rd brake light is still installed on a car which has the spoiler installed at the factory given that it serves as a third brake light ergo obviating the need of the rear deck 3rd brake light. If the spoiler is installed ipso facto, has anyone bothered removing the deck light or is that ill-advised.

I just installed my factory spoiler today, Bought it from everythingG35, dont buy the replica cause i had it and it was a waste of time considering it blocked out half of my camera view, The replica wanted me to splice wires in order for the spoiler light to work, The factory spoiler had a plug in that went into the input right next to the cameras input.

Came with all the templates including a manual on how to install and which holes to bore.

 

I just put the Grubbs spoiler on last week. No problems with my camera and I disconnected the rear deck brake light and hooked up the spoiler brake light. Eventually I will swap it to the rear deck without the brake light.

 

I put my Grubbs spoiler on awhile back. I still haven't connected the brake light, LOL, been too lazy. As far as the deck lid. I'll probably leave it. So sense in spending extra money for something I don't really care about.

 

Can I install the spoiler on my 09 g37x that comes with the chrome lip? I don't have navi so will that make it easier?
