my car no longer beeps the horn when i lock/unlock the doors using either the fob or door button. The lights still flash but the horn is gone, any ideas

 

i think u need to hold unlock and lock button at the same time which turns it back on thats wat i hear... anyone can correct me??

 

hold the lock and unlock button at the same time on your key fob for 5-10 seconds till the car lights up or beeps

There are two settings. I know because I changed mine to the hornless/soundless option. The signal lights will still flash upon locking it on with this option.

I know this is in the manual, I just don't have it with me now to give you a heads up on what section, but it is in there.
