If you have AFS lighting then you need a consult to adjust. If you non AFS you have to stick a long screw driver down the back side of the headlight to adjust. I haven't done mine yet. I am planning on doing it this weekend when I find flat area with a wall. After I dropped my car I need to bring them up a bit.

Hmmm... I have AFS and didn't need consult to realign. I was able to align vertically via the screws and the AFS corrected itself horizontally.

So is it a common occurrence for the HIDs to be misaligned whenever you install a new capsule?

What screws do we have to get to to adjust the HID alignment? I tried putting them back in another way but it didn't work. The lighting is all over the place and not lined up.

Are they lined up incorrectly in the horizontal or vertical plane? If it's the horizontal plane, they should correct themselves. If they don't self-correct, then take it to the dealership. If they're misaligned in the vertical plane, then follow this DIY thread.

i personally think they shouldn't need any alignment cuz the bulb is only one way in. you should check to see if the bulb is sitting flushed or not?
