no luck with powdercoating

so basicly i've been trying to just find a place that does it... and i've had no luck at all. i've checked in my home town, harrisburg pennsylvania, and va beach. and i cant even find a place that powdercoats rims....

so. i'm thinking about just painting them? anyone have any experience or advice as far as that goes?

i had another thread, and finaly decided what i wanted to do (thanks to a lot of you who had posted pics and given advice)

i'm going to do the spokes and everything black but a slightly lighter shade of black, not super dark. and i was thinking about using a spray clear coat, and the outside line i'd like to be in chrome. or something really shiny anyways.
i'm sure this can be done, and shouldn't be all that difficult?

i guess i'd just have to use a primer over top of the alloy and then begin the painting process?

You sure you checked around in Virginia Beach?

There are four places that I am hearing about: Vanwins in Chesapeake, Eastern Offroad, Advanced Custom Coatings, and Precision Powdercoating.

Don't paint them. I had mine painted professionally recently by a reputable shop and they are already chipping, plus you can see the paint runs when you look close. Get 'em powdercoated. I am.
