are 8000k noticably blue? like would police pull you over...

 

search pics..ppl have 8000k's around here. some are bluer than others..usually with just a blue tint. they dont scream pull me over but they dont help your cause either

 

6K has a hint of blue, so 8K I would imagine would be noticeable and a cop magnet. ESPECIALLY HERE IN L.A.

8000K is noticeably blue like stillballin said. I wouldn't do it.

if a cop pulls you over for lights or tints or anything for that matter, respectably ask him why hes worrying about ur lights when people are dying from guns and drugs on his streets...it will get him thinking and u might get out of it...however 75% of cops are d*****bags

 

That's got to be the stupidest advice ever given to anyone ever. There's no "respectful" way to insult someone and tell them they aren't doing their job right. What it will do is help him to realize that you are a completely disrespectful ***** and encourage him to see what else he can find to cite you for for being a jackass. Nobody likes someone telling them how to do their job, especially when they have no clue what the hell they are talking about. How would you respond if some kid told you how to do your job and insulted you? Let them go scott free or bust their *****?

My experience (since I've been an adult at least) is that the more respect you show an officer, it typically will be returnded in kind. The ones who are douchebags are generally just returning the attitude you give them.

OP, 8000K is blue. Noticeably so. 1000K is purplish blue. If you want to change and not be noticeable, 5500 or 6000K is as white as I'd go. Maybe even with 5000K. Much whiter than stock but not eye catching blue.

agreed on both parts. i remember i got pull over when i just had a permit and i was nice and he let me go.

definately go with 6k. Looks good and not screaming pull me over

Maybe I take things too seriously sometimes.

Personally I hate the high K temperature lights. I personally find them to look ricey, but beyond that, tall they do is flash glare in other dirvers' eyes. That's whay they aren't legal. They severely limit your night time visibility (even my 6000K sacrifice some) and blid oncoming drivers. I'm glad when they get tickest becasue maybe I'll be able to see if they change them to something better for other drivers.

 

yea i hate anything over 6000k...blue lights are corny and purple is even worse...they should be made illegal for there tackiness
