AFS Problem

Hi everyone. I just bought a g37x with tech package and I was trying to test the AFS system and I noticed that only the right headlight was actually oscillating. Now I am under the impression that both headlights were supposed to move at the same time? Actually the left one doesn't move at all. This could be a manufacturer defect? Thanks

Read the book lad! The left lite does not respond unless you are rolling above 15 Mph or some thing close to that.

the AFS actuator only moves the light if you are above 15 mph, the right when moves when you are at a stop, which is probably what you did?

Thanks for your replies. I looked at the user's manual again and it actually said the left one will swivel at 16mph or more. I can't figure out why they chose to do that.

So as not to blind oncoming traffic at slow speeds or when turning left. Also be aware that the lights do not swivel as much to the left as they do to the right for the same reason.
