Uncomfortable seatbelt?

Anyone else experience this? ... the part that the seatbelt attaches to is too extended. Maybe i'm just a small person, but when i sit in any other car, the seatbelt sits perfectly fine against my waist.

with the G37 and the G35, it extends too far out and it kind of raises the seat belt against my ribcage...it makes it very uncomfortable to use.

I talked to the dealer about this problem in my G35, and they said there would be liabilitiy issues if they switched the passenger seatbelt buckle with the drivers. The passengers on the G35 was a little bit shorter than the drivers, but in the 37 it seems theyre both the same size.

Now i see why they made it extended, so when you raise the seat up all the way it sits nice, but who drives like this?!

any input is appreciated. I did a search and i couldn't find anything. Ill take some pics and post it up because its hard to explain.

And i hope this is in the right section.

I don't have a problem with that part of the seat belt, but I do hate the height of the part connected to the B pillar. The seat belt rests RIGHT up against my neck so I'm always paranoid about having my jugular sliced open by the side of the belt if I'm ever in a front end crash. I've even thought about getting those seat belt wraps/cushions so I wouldn't worry but that would look too rice.

I find myself automatically tucking that part under my armpit.

Raising the seat up might help put the seatbelt at a lower height?

Yeah but is that safe? And VIPG, I've tried that but it just eventually just slides right back up.

I think people used to order the passanger side seatbelt, because it would move like the one on your civic, dk if the passanger on the G37 is diff like the G35 was.

Hm, well i'm like 5'6".. but it just has like a huge gap between me and the seatbelt because the extender thing is so tall. Oh well, ill see if i can bend the metal over a little bit and see how that helps.

I believe the g37 has the same thing for the passenger and driver, so that won't work.

anyways, thanks for the input.
