Anyone know how to get to this light? I would rather get to it myself and change it (maybe to a LED), than have some guy at the delarship #$@& up my interior and paint job! I am changing the other bulbs to LEDs.

 

i believe it is only on when it is dark out if i remember correctly.

 

To access that bulb you need to pull the glove box out. The area where it hinges pulls up and unsnaps. Remove the glove box.
- Pull off the side dressing that is between the door and the dash.
- Then there is a panel under the dash that you pull down from the front and after 3 clips are off pull towards you.
- Then there are 7-8 screws that hold glove box carcass in. Remove those screws. Pull out the carcass and the light is on top of the carcass.

I am doing this from memory but that is pretty much it.

I have the shop manual, so I will attempt this over the weekend. Did you go to a LED bulb? Do you know what type will replace the original?

 

That one I didn't change. I never look in there so I didn't find it necessary. If you can find it someone had posted what bulbs go where in the car.
