Thanks for the good post, EZ! Kudos.

It's all fun and games until the thing flies off your car going 100mph. Happened to me with my Stillen front lip on my maxima that was held on with 3m tape and rivets/screws. Funny thing was I ran it over, pulled over then walked back to pick it up. Besides a gash in the underside, the thing was still in OK condition. Went home and bolted it on again, but this time used a super strong adhesive from The Home Depot.

Thanks for the advice. Since I've decided not to use the turnbuckles, I actually doubled up on the bolts. The original ones alone were too far apart.

I talked to Stillen and they didn't think it was safe without the turnbuckles... but maybe your idea with the double bolting is sufficient.

Used the same size self tapping screws but added washers. The ones provided by Stillen didn't come with washers. Basically I added one screw between the ones originally installed. I had a gap of about 1 foot between them before.

Got it from www.billetanything.com. They carry several brands but my grill is from the T-Rex series. You can order it in stainless steel or black powdercoated. I also have the bottom bumper piece on order and I believe it shipped out last friday.
