Looking good EZDOZZIT, a very nice mod for sure. I actually think the turnbuckles would look good, checked out the pics on Stillen site and I think the turnbuckles actually add to the appearance, of course JMHO. Nice job though with this post, makes me want to order one right now.

I'll probably end up buying the splitter soon. (Or getting it as a birthday present, I've dropped a few hints to my fiance ). I originally wanted to not use the turnbuckles to keep it looking clean (I have OB), but I also don't want it flying off on the highway. What do you guys think about scuffing up the turnbuckles and painting them OB?

I thought about doing that but since you're gonna do it, I'll wait and see how it looks. Incidentally, I've had my G past 100mph several times and typically cruise into work at around 75mph. Haven't had any problems, however, I did double up on the bolts.

I want to get the splitter sooner rather than later, but now my fiance wants to get it for my birthday since she has no idea what else to get me . My birthday is in late September so if you want to do it first EZDozzit, then go ahead, you can show ME what it looks like before I drill my car . If not, I think I'll end up doing it in September.

I would like to put this on my IP, but I think I will need more exterior mods to pull off a black splitter.

I'm thinking the same way. Painting the splitter IP or leave it black and put overlays and black out the grill. I want this in the future and if they have a group buy right now, i would jump on it. At least i have it already and just decide later which way to go.

A black splitter would work on an IP car if you had the Top Secret rear diffuser. But then you're starting to verge onto the competition look. You'll need stickers/decals and new side skirts.

Yeah, I also have an IP and am debating whether to paint the splitter or not when I get it. Would it look bad unpainted? Does it help that I have Diamond Black Volks?

I think it would look better since you have black wheels. But if you decide to do that, I'm thinking it might be best to go with a black grill. Too much going on with IP body, black mods, chrome trim. If you're going to leave the lip black, doing a black overlay on the rear valence would be a cheap, but good looking way, to balance out the front. I think you'd have to get the rear valence overlay to make it look even.

BTW, I was kidding in my previous post about the stickers/decals for those that thought I was mental.

Where did you get the Fuji logo for the mesh grill? I have an OB with the black mesh trex as well, the Fuji logo looks good.

You can get them at your dealer or check eBay. It's the trunk badge which happens to be the exact same size as the front grill badge. However, unlike the grill one, the trunk badge has a flat black with 3M tape which sticks very nicely.
