Faux brake vents....

While I had the bumper off clearing my headlights i checked out the details of the faux brake vents. They are held on by 4 clips and one 10mm bolt. You can remove them if you want. I will be removing them and making custom brake cooling hoses for my track days. Here are a few pics....

there is no reason to open them up and have air going in there for no purpose. Once I do the brake mode I will have mesh with a tube behind it going directly to the rotors cooling them

I'm thinking about doing a Civic Type R fog light conversion into those holes

The 37 does have fog lights. They are right next to the HIDS.

You have a G37 without fog lights? Interesting...

Is this a joke, or am I oblivious here? Does the car have fog lights that I have overlooked? If so, where are they?

Who actually uses fog lights for their intended purpose? Who turns them on because they think it looks "tite" and "hot"?

no this is no joke my friend. If you look on the left stick on your steering collum look where you turn the lights on. there is a second ring with a light beams pointed down. thats your fog switch.

Honestly i think it looks better without them on. but i use them all the time because they produce more usable light. I am switching the bulbs out to piaa ion plasma's so i have even more light. and with those bulbs it will look pimp.

The coolest find yet... Thanks for sharing!

I am guessing that Infiniti made them removable for a reason. I bet they plan to make those slots functional in the future.

If those 4 teeth were not in each hole, it would be perfect with some mesh. The teeth ruin it.
