My map light wouldn't turn off!!!

While driving I turned on my map light to find something. When I turned it off the passenger side light stayed on. I tried turning it off and on with no success. The driver side light would turn off buy not the passenger side. I then pulled over to look at my manual to see if I hit some other button, but I did not. After about 10 minutes of driving at night with half my map light on I finally punched the light out of frustration at which point it turned off. The light and switch seems to be working properly now, but I'm sure it will come back. Any ideas?

Thanks

Sounds liek a short in the wiring. See if you can get it to duplicate and take it back to the dealer.

Instead of punching your G37, try pushing gently on the lens of the map light.

HAHA....Thanks for the link. I never knew that was a feature. I guess I let my anger get the best of me. I'll walk out the garage later and say I'm sorry
