Radio Receiver does not work in cold temps

I have a 2008 infiniti g37 journey, non nav with bose sound system. When I warm my car up in the mornings (around 2:15 am) or during the cold winter months, my radio receiver takes 20+ minutes to kick up and audio to start working. I have replaced the fuse and only other "fix" i saw online was to replace the whole receiver. Is there anything else I should look at before replacement?

These kind of intermittent problems are a PITA. There are at least 3 fuses involved (#3, #19 and #34) but what you describe could also be a cold solder joint "somewhere" - but that could be anywhere. Does the head unit light up and look like it's working? Radio station info on the screen, etc? Have you tried a CD or other source material? If all looks right on the dash you may want to concentrate on the Bose amp in the trunk. Might even be worth reseating the big connectors back there? Just a thought.

If you want to dig into it deeper your FSM is here (sedan, right?):

Scroll down below the "viewing window" and you can "Click here to download a copy". Bose w/o NAV starts on page 127.

Everything appears to work as it should, I have not tried a CD and dont have native Bluetooth but I do have a Bluetooth setup that plugs into the rca connectors and even that doesnt produce audio. When I get off of work and its been sunny outside and just warmer all around it works right off the bat.

I think a bad ground could cause similar symptoms. As our cars are getting up there in age, I have considered installing an aftermarket grounding kit to prevent ground related issues.
