Bluetooth TSBs
Bluetooth TSBs
Has anyone actually had the following TSBs done and did they help at all with bluetooth calls and playing audio files? I've now had three separate iPhones (7 Plus, XS Max and 12 Pro Max) and none of them will make a consistent bluetooth call. Sometimes it's totally fine, sometimes it starts clicking a lot, sometimes it will lose the audio and I'll have to switch to the iPhone speaker and sometimes it just simply won't work. The audio files have serious issues, it almost never plays the first time and when it does play, the display on the G cannot keep up. Is there any remedy for either of these issues?? TIA

Well, we've got two '13 Gs w/o Nav and the Bluetooth phone calls seem to work and sound ok. No music streaming without Nav so I can't comment on that. Keep in mind that our cars are 8/10 years old now so by computer standards that's getting up there. And it was never the great system anyway.
You may benefit from having this TSB done. No idea what it might cost. Note that they don't mention music so it only has to do with voice calls and includes replacing the microphone and the facia, which I would bet has a bigger hole for the mic to hear through...

Have you ever considered that it might be a Apple iOS issue?
My G never liked my iPhones or iPods. Switched to Samsung (for other reasons) and have never had a problem with music streaming or phone.
Like 13_SkylineSedan mentioned, it was old technology when Nissan adopted it- so it is beyond obsolete now.
Just my 10˘.

It's just annoying that it works fine for a while, then spotty, then not at all, then back to fine. Pretty frustrating. Just bought a new phone so probably not going to switch. I guess this is one of the things that just "doesn't" work.
I have a 2011 G37 IPL, an iPhone 7 and have similar Bluetooth issues as mentioned in this thread. I was quoted $575 for Infiniti to do the work as illustrated in TB12-063c 2010+ G37 WITH NAVIGATION SYSTEM. However, the work would not be guaranteed, so if the issues continued after the repair, I would be out of luck.
Has anybody had this work done and it resolved their issues?

PROBLEM SOLVED! I decided not to opt for this Infiniti fix - TB12-063c2010+ G37 WITH NAVIGATION SYSTEM - and I'm glad I did. I changed phone service providers and went from T-Mobile to AT&T and voila - no Bluetooth cut outs or clipping. Pandora starts up right away and does not go away. Also, been driving all over and no longer have any phone issues where people can't hear me or the phone shuts off.

I've never liked the call option on these cars mic picks up a lot of road noise. So I instead use my airpods.
