So my car decided to shut down going down the highway, all lights when off but car stayed on. The yellow key light appeared I then pulled over and car wouldn’t cut off I hit the button about ten times finally cut off then wouldn’t start. Now the weird part is, if you open the door it acts perfect but soon as you shut it the car loses its mind. I cleaned the ground for door button I reset the bcm and ipdm once you do that it runs decent for a few miles and then shuts down again and key light comes on. Took it to Infiniti for diagnostic and they’re clueless as well. I’ve searched forums but can’t find someone who has the same issue with the door. Infiniti reset the car and said it was fine until I pulled out of the parking lot. It’s not throwing any codes which is why they say they can’t figure it out. Any help would be nice as I would love to go back to enjoying the car again.

 

How is the battery and alternator

 

I replaced battery and alternator is good. Infiniti says it’s bcm or ipdm

 

Did you replace battery with sealed or acid battery. Acid batteries require cells to be refilled with distilled water from time to time. If cells run low you will see white build up on terminals before it starts to really affect electrical system

DId you get any water on any of the components under the hood?

Sounds like a bad computer. That's $$$.
