Question Replacing OEM Radio on 2013 G37S Convertible

Hello guys. The original radio broke (no display, only sound from the satellite radio). I bought a used one OEM from ebay (same model and part number as the original) and replaced it. When I installed the replacement, everything worked except for the sound, there's no sound at all. I know the amplifier works because I do get sound from the original damaged radio. I returned the one that I bought from Ebay thinking that it was damaged. I got another used one (bought 2 radios from Ebay) OEM with the same model and part number as the original and the same thing happened, everything works but no sound. Can anyone help me?? Does it need to be programmed??

For the record, no 'programming' is required for these head units.

That said, it sounds like you have another issue separate from the head unit. It is highly unlikely 3 head units are all bad- possible, but not probable.

I would double check all of the wires (dash, body, trunk) and fuses. Also, assuming the display and all of the switches work, you should perform the self-diagnosis operation as this will help with any error codes or connection errors.
