Some simple searching and I could not get to the answer I was looking for.

I have an 09 Sedan with Bose/Nav. I was thinking of replacing with a 11+ Bose/Nav to gain bluetooth streaming, USB connection (ditch the compact flash), and a better user interface.

Has anyone attempted? Is it possible? Would it be plug and play other than a cable for the USB to the faceplate?

I have 08 non-nav and kinda wonder the same thing, I want BT and/or usb streaming

 

I did some more digging. It is possible but rewiring is needed for the backup camera. Search "Modme". He has a good write up about it.

Looks like for parts, a screen and a/v unit is needed. From that point, lots of wiring.

 

There is currently a 11+ nav in the classifieds too, I don't have the cash for it, but it appears to be complete.

 

Yeah...this is the one that started me thinking. Its a good price but too steep with all my other projects going on
