My friend bought a used 2011 G37 recently and he's uncertain which sound system he has. He's interested in doing the Phoenix Android radio but we're not sure if it has Bose or not.

No sunroof
No navigation
No seat memory buttons
Yes backup cam
Yes heated seats
Yes Homelink buttons on the rear view mirror

Is this enough information to provide an answer, or do I need more info? I cannot see a Bose logo on any of the speaker grills but the same can be said for my 2012 Sport.

According to your description, specifically the lack of a sunroof, this vehicle would not have a Bose audio system as it's part of a package that includes the roof.

NealP - I agree. However the OP stated he doesn't see the Bose emblem and he has a 2012 Sport which would have Bose and doesn't have the emblem?

Not to doubt OP but is he positive he has Bose speakers? Hopefully OP didn't buy a used one where someone slapped on the "S" emblem. IIRC the emblems are built into the cover so you can't remove them easily.
