i own a 09 premium with the bose and nav, got a rental today and its a 2010 -4 door with base bose.

this system JAMS, blows my car away, im talking on about 6-8 clicks, its rocking, would be compared to mine full bast with windows down its noticeable but not rocking like the 10

did bose make a huge difference in them? we have the same amount of speakers compared to the schematics. in the 09 rears i have two speakers in sides as well as by the back glass, the 10 has same, but there is only one speaker by the glass in the center.

 

the 2010+ base system is actually decent. The bass is a little too boomy but its better than some others

I have never liked the Bose set up in any car.
