Bose premium speakers

I have a 2013 journey sedan with the premium package including the Bose 10 speaker sound system (studio on wheels, i believe) and ive been loving the audio quality untill recently ive been noticing a rattling sound from the rear subwoofer mounted behind the backseat head rests. The bass is still there but it is accompanied by a rattling noise that seems to get more noticeable each day which is leading me to believe that the sub is on its way out.

My question is does anybody know the specs for the speakers in this model ? (primarily the rear subwoofer). I want to get this repaired or replaced with the factory speaker and wiring and components that were made specifically for my car instead of going full blown aftermarket. I bought it pre owned from and infiniti dealership but the bumper to bumper warranty has expired. Basically i want to replace the rear speaker with the exact same one but dont know the model or specs of the speakers in the G’s bose system. If anyone knows or has any advice on how to go about this it would be greatly apprecriated thanks yall

Try the Infiniti Parts Online Store at: https://parts.infinitiusa.com/nissan...artcode=27933Y.
The part looks to be over $600 new. May find a better deal from one of the G37s on this forum getting parted out.

eBay.

Many will tell you to install aftermarket and not worry about replacing the factory sub. Depending on the music you listen to, this might be an option. However, the Bose system is supposed to protect itself from self-destruction so you could have a bad amp or sub - depends on the noise. I like the way the factory system sounds (needs some low end below 40Hz) so I would replace the factory sub.

I have had this same problem as of recently but only after I lowered my car about 1.2 -1.5 inch drop. Never had the back bass rattle before. I am even wondering if it's the cupholder plastic on the inside rattling against the wall near the trunk. That rear speaker is not blown I wire speakers all the time and test them and mine isn't blown that's why I am so annoyed. On top of that back rattle I also have a tiny rattle in the passenger front right dash area over top of the tire or that general area ever since the winter with it being lowered. Trying to get to the bottom of both issues.

Maybe coil overs?

While the car is resting on the tires, is the front right spring tight (loaded) between the top of the lower spring seat ring and under the upper spring seat? If the spring is loose, it could be the source of the rattle since it is close to the engine mounts. Just throwing it out there.

Reference left side of example below.
