Connecting interior mirror with dash cam or radar

I apologize in advance if there is an actual thread about that but I can’t find it.
My question is here does anybody know how to connect interior mirror with a dash camera or speed radar? Want to purchase one of them but don’t want to have those wires in front of me. Thanx!

I believe there are 3 wires leading to the rear-view mirror. Ground, +(always) and +(w/ignition). Sorry I don't know the colors but you should be able to test easily with a meter or bulb to see which is which, then tap into the appropriate pair to power your device.

Yeah, i did this before. I think its the outer two wires. 12v with ignition and ground. You can literally just strip the wire and shove it into the end of the connector, or use wiretaps if you have them.

Get a mirror tap kit. The blades insert snugly. Mine have never come loose after many years. Follow the 4 links above for details.
