shift paddle and s mode not working

Unhappy shift paddle and s mode not working

Hi, does anyone having the same issue like me? the shift paddle is completely not working and there is no S mode when I move the ****.
my car is 2012 G37xS

I believe there's a switch in the console that needs to be replaced. This a fairly rare issue.

but how does the switch in the console related to the shift paddle on the steering wheel....?

They're part of the same circuit. The paddles work temporarily in D mode (will switch back to D if you stop shifting). The transmission is fully paddle controlled if you switch to DS mode first.
